Fiestas and concerts ( classical and pop ), fashion shows and art exhibitions are regularly hosted in many of the towns and villages throughout the year. San Carlos has its own small village hall next to the beautiful church and town square.

People watching seems to be a favourite pastime so particularly don’t miss Ibiza town at least once during the evening or at night.

The island features an abundance of bars, restaurants, clubbing and Hippy markets, but I’m sure you have already heard of these
Set amongst Ibizan pine forests and countryside in the exclusive area of La Joya ( The Jewel ), this tranquil detached villa, within its own grounds and gardens, with private pool, offers an ideal holiday location whilst biza offers something for all.

For those with aquatic preferences, you can take part in many of the watersports available. The waters are wonderful for snorkelling - maybe try Cala Mastella. Learn to Scuba dive at the centre in Santa Eulalia, or rent a boat (from pedalo through dinghy or catamaran to skippered power or sail )  - check out Cala Pada and Santa Eulalia port, or try Waterskiing and Parasailing particularly at Es Cana.

On Dry land enjoy many of the recommended cycle or walking tours either locally or throughout the whole island which also offers sightseeing and cultural trips.

Of course there’s nothing to prevent you just relaxing by the pool !
Of course Ibiza has a reputation for sun, sea and clubs and excitement. All of that is there and more to take advantage of, and for many it is the ultimate summer sun holiday location, but it is also a beautiful island throughout the year with glorious pine tree covered hills. You can
enjoy the blossom covering the island in February, or walk many of the guided routes through picturesque countryside or admire the stunning sea views. The Beach bars may be closed, but the local bodegas aren't. You can sit in shirt sleeves and eat outside while taking a break from "Winter".

Excellently situated, Villa las Mimosas is about 500 mtrs from the beaches of both Cala Llenya and Cala Nova.
A walk along the latter reaches Es Cana.
It is only 25 km from Ibiza town, whilst the attractive market town of San Carlos is only a five minute drive away, and Santa Eulalia just ten.
There is also a local bus route to take you around the island, although we do recommend use of a car.
Our Villa is ideally suited for all tastes, whatever time of year, whether you go with friends, family (or family with teenagers !)
